National AI Meet 2024 Showcases AI Innovation and Collaboration in Ireland

The National AI Meet 2024, hosted by TechIreland in partnership with itag, was held on Thursday, September 5, at The Hardiman Hotel in Galway. Supported by leading partner Data2Sustain and sponsor Enterprise Ireland, the exclusive event brought together national AI leaders, policymakers, and senior business executives to showcase industry use cases, discuss procurement strategies, and engage in informative keynotes and panel discussions.

The conference featured live demonstrations by experts using advanced AI tools, providing attendees with practical exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies. These hands-on sessions offered valuable insights into how organizations can capitalize on AI for competitive advantage.

Key discussions focused on enhancing operational efficiencies, assessing organizational readiness for AI adoption—including infrastructure, talent, and cultural factors—and navigating investment strategies to ensure sustainable growth and return on investment.

The event attracted senior decision-makers capable of driving AI adoption at scale within their organizations. Among the attendees was Minister Dara Calleary, who contributed to discussions on national AI strategies and the government’s role in supporting technological advancement.
