The Enterprise Europe Network and Data2Sustain EDIH teams hosted a highly successful industry access event on Thursday, 10th October 2024, at the AIM Centre in Sligo. The event attracted over 100 attendees from 37 companies, including 30 public sector and organizational representatives. It centred on advancing digitalization and data-driven innovation, offering participants key insights on how digital technologies can drive business growth.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one meetings to address their specific digitalization needs, as well as explore access to €100,000 worth of EDIH services at no cost. Key discussions covered topics like the transformation of industry through Data and AI, presented by Brian Hanly of Brightbeam, and strategies for SMEs navigating the digital landscape, shared by John O’Shanahan from LeanBPI.
The event also featured a panel discussion moderated by Kevin Sexton of Alpha Innovation, which examined how advanced technologies support operational and sustainability goals. Julie Dowling from the AIM Centre led a session on trends in knowledge management, AI in customer engagement, and compliance, while Ruairí Ó hAilín moderated a session on technology adoption and enterprise support.
